My name is Mursel, and I am the proud owner of The Meldiz. A name created by combining my own name with those of my two children, Eliz and Ediz. With over 20 years of international experience in the hospitality industry, including 6 years with Hilton International in Istanbul and 14 years as a restaurant manager in the United States. I have dedicated my career to bringing people together through the joy of Mediterranean food. After moving to England, I established Forks and Spoons, a successful catering company for private events, before opening The Meldiz to share my passion with the Basingstoke community.
At The Meldiz, we use an authentic Turkish charcoal grill to prepare our signature dishes. Every recipe is freshly made with high-quality ingredients, offering rich Mediterranean flavours that keep our guests coming back.
